This is a composite of the life of Aesop. I used masking techniques for the background image of the Apollo Temple, and also of Aesop's bust.

This is an example of Line Drawing with Texture from a Bitmap Image. Using the pen tool, I enhanced the lines around the statue's face and neck, including hair and ears. I used a couple of filters; the Ink Outlines, but then added plastic wrap because it make the lines more enhanced. I use curves to give the statue an 'emerald' color.
